By 2012 Acer had moved back to the box look on their notebooks and laptops. The Acer Aspire 5250 Notebook was the first to move back off from their sleek look laptops. That was a bad move in my view. The Acer Aspire 4755G notebook still had some of the best looks around. In any event this laptop came with a number of options being Windows 7 and Windows 8 which was the OS entering the market at that time.
